I am starting to get very impatient about getting my own hands on the new Algodoo 2.0 to show you and also to be able to get out to you all and to many more new users of Algodoo. Who could not LOVE this release? It’s fantastic!

We have had a huge amount of positive feedback regarding the beta version we released – thank you so much all of you who have been testing the beta and providing us with valuable feedback. This week we have been showing it to teachers to get their input on the lessons that are integrated into Algodoo to ensure that we give you just what you need. Again, the feedback was very, very positive.

Personally, apart from the integrated lessons, which I know is a much-requested feature, I think the new tools such as rope and thrust are going to inspire everyone to create new scenes and fantastic creations – I look forward to lots of rocket scenes being uploaded into the Algobox and excellent physics demos using the rope.

The menus are much simpler and more natural to use and there are several time-saving changes for choosing materials for several different objects.

One of the new things that I think you will all have the most of fun with is the way you will be able to just drag in pictures, logos and other types of clipart to be a figure in Algodoo. I have seen what our fantastic developers have done and you won’t be disappointed!

Well, we are going to be working hard all summer to produce a fantastic Algodoo solution which will come out in September – in the meantime, please keep the feedback coming regarding the beta – a new one will be out in the next few days with a Mac version too.
