Algoryx nominated for spin-off award
Algoryx is nominated for the spin-off of the year in the Umeå Entrepreneurship Awards 2011. Algoryx is one out of three candidates for the final selection that will take place on November 10 in Umeå, Sweden.
Algoryx started off as a spin-off from Umeå University in 2007 and involves researches from the High Perfomance Computing Centre North (HPC2N), VRlab, and the departments of Computing Science and Physics. Today Algoryx has grown to become a world leading company in the market for interactive multi-physics simulations with solutions for both the professional market as well as the educational market.
