AgX is built upon a solid foundation of orignal scientific research, including discrete variational and physics based time integration methods for constrained systems, parallel high performance hybrid equation solvers and novel multiphysics models. Therefore AgX combines accuracy with speed in a way that cannot be found in any other competing physics engine or product. If you desire speed and a lower level of precision typically found in commercial game engines, you can select this with performance and accuracy still better than in game physics engines. If you want high precision models for science and engineering, you can select this as well, and will still get the performance required for interactive realtime simulators of complex mechanical systems! The latter is absolutely necessary for serious simulations of stiff mechanical systems, e.g. vehicle dynamics, robotics and jointed systems.
